A switch to Facebook, at least temporarily.

Hello,

We are maikng a switch to Facebook, at least temporarily.  An organization page has been created, and this is where updates, pictures and news of the club will be available from here forward.  It is easier to do, more visible, people are on Facebook, and I think the format works for it.

Everyone is telling me that Google+ is coming to devour everything in its path, but I will wait to see.   Please if you are on Facebook go and check out the page.  I don't think you even need to have a facebook accoutn in order to view it, though.  Someone let me know, if you are not on FB.  Thanks for watching....

June 2011

Somehow I didn't post at all for the month of June.   Here it is in digest form...

  (6/1/11)

That is me on my birthday, juggling all alone, so sad...

Just kidding, it was awesome!  Cool grass under my feet, nothing better.

Another nice day, a good five jugglers.  We ran fifteen-club patterns, and succeeded to a degree.  My people have come a long way...

Started off in the dark shade (and dusty gravel) with Jeff.  Then, out of the blue, Jordan Campbell in from CA to visit his girlfriend and us.  Always a pleasure to juggle with him, and David of course.

Anika and Mossamat, High School Sophomores from Bangaladesh, came out to juggle with us this day.  Also, the weekend before I met Rick, in the first picture, randomly in a diner in Connecticut.  He was walking out as me, Penda and my stepfather Charlie were walking in.  We met his wife, who seems very nice.  Small world.

Me and Sam out on the lawn on a very overcast day.  Threatened rain, but never quite.  Perfect.  Also had fun posting the doctored image on Facebook as "NY Historical Society" archival stock.  No one bought it.

THE LAWN IS OPEN!!!

I walked up and the thin red rope that they put aroudn the edge was up, yet there were random-looking people walking up on the grass on the other side.  Jeff showed up, and we decided it was open, which turns out to be true.

Myles Kane showed up, excellent timing as always.   The grass was cool and extra-green, lots of kids and people out.   It is reminding me, however, how hot it can get.  Getting back to the office a sweaty mess is no longer a luxury I have.

Lastly, the lawn again, OPEN, and full of relaxing people.  Summer, here we come...
